Paula Shaw
Traditionally trained at Long Beach State University with postgraduate work at Loyola Marymount University, Paula developed a deep appreciation for the power of mind-body approaches in achieving rapid and lasting transformation.
In 1999, she became a founding member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) and served on its Board of Directors for six years. She is extensively trained in leading mind-body techniques, including Reiki, EFT, TAT, tapping, Guided Imagery, Chakra Work, Mindfulness, and Energy Medicine.
As an innovator and pioneer in the field of Energy Psychology, Paula is dedicated to helping others navigate personal transformation and healing. She is the host of Bridges Beyond Grief, a weekly radio show on It's Your Life Radio Show with Dr. James Cooley. Additionally, she has hosted Change It Up Radio and Higher Energy, the latter produced by ACEP.
Paula is also the author of several impactful books, including Chakras: The Magnificent Seven, Grief…When Will This Pain Ever End?, and Saying the Right Thing…When You Don’t Know What to Say.
As a grief expert and counselor, Paula provides compassionate guidance to individuals navigating loss and life transitions. Through her work, she offers support, insight, and practical tools to help others heal and find meaning after loss.
Amy Scruggs
Amy Scruggs has been a leading name in country music for over 20 years, sharing the stage with legends like Clint Black and Trace Adkins. Her band, the "Ghostriders," is led by her son, Ryan Scruggs. In 2022, she released an EP produced by Fred Mollin, featuring the chart-topping single “What if It All Goes Right.”
Beyond music, Amy is a former TV host and a highly sought-after media coaching professional. She has helped countless individuals and organizations refine their messaging, master public speaking, and enhance their on-camera presence.
A dedicated Rotarian, Amy serves as the Assistant Rotary Public Image Chair for Zone 26. She has delivered impactful keynote speeches at numerous Rotary clubs and leadership conferences, inspiring audiences with her stories of resilience and purpose.
In 2024, Amy became the full-time caregiver for her father, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Embracing this new chapter with compassion and resilience, she documents their daily journey together through heartfelt vlogs on social media. By openly sharing both the joys and struggles of caregiving, Amy aims to inspire and educate others facing similar challenges. Her content touches on practical tips, emotional support, and the realities of living with dementia, creating a community of understanding and encouragement for caregivers and families impacted by the disease. Amy’s transparency and strength have resonated deeply with her followers, offering hope to countless others navigating the Alzheimer’s journey.
